Zyia Active Review: Legit MLM Or Another Scam?

Hey guys, David Nelly here from Safe Money Makers, and today we are going to be taking a look at the Zyia Active MLM Company.

Zyia Active is a Multi-Level Marketing Company serving within the fitness clothing niche. They are all about branding themselves as a healthy lifestyle brand. They have a pretty big selection of activewear, it’s around your mid-tier Nike and Underarmor cost, as far as the quality goes, I will get into that later, here is a picture to give you an idea of their selections.

I myself think that the Mossy Copperhead looks nifty. In any case, outside of their selection of clothes, Zyia is very much actively trying to recruit representatives to sell their gear, as is the case with most MLMs, and if I had to take a guess, that’s why you ended up on my page.

You want to know, can I actually make money with Zyia Active, can I perhaps even quit my job with this new income stream? Or is Zyia Active another one of those pyramid scheme scams?

Now, when it comes to MLM opportunities, this is the criteria that I tend to look for, and the questions I think you should be asking.

What is the income potential for this opportunity?

How much Product, or usually in MLM terms, Personal Volume will I need to maintain my membership within its compensation plan?

Is an income disclosure statement released by this company to properly follow FTC guidelines? This is important because you need to be able to trust the company you work with. If this is not provided, it is highly likely that the company is manipulating the narrative to make you believe you can make way more money than possible through this company.

If an income disclosure is provided, what are the average earnings for people in the MLM? Does it look like there is a decent moving-around rate with evenly dispersed percentages in the company’s structure? Or, does it look like 80% to 99% of all MLM distributors are never ever able to move above the beginner ranks and only make around $10-$1000 per year?

How much time and energy will you be spending in the MLM? Will you be able to tackle this MLM structure in a relaxed pace? Will you be provided with an opportunity to use online marketing to promote the company’s products? Or will you be hustling all over doing door-to-door sales, hosting parties to introduce the product, and relying on selling to friends and family?

Is the company’s product actually good, or improved over the competition? Or does the MLM rely more on upon recruiting others and attempting to finesse how much money you can make with the company to get people in versus selling the company’s product?

What is Zyia Active?

Zyia Active is an active clothing MLM line with a compensation plan as mentioned above. They seem to try to have representatives become your personal shoppers. I don’t exactly understand the purpose of that, but perhaps it’s to educate you on their products.

They sell shirts, shorts, leggings, and swimwear, and they also have eco-friendly clothing.

Zyia Active history:

Zyia Active was created in 2017. The inspiration came from a mix of her husband, Jeremiah Bradley, and this hike that Erin went on with her friends. Erin thought to herself about how she doesn’t see herself as a seller, but more as someone who wants to build something.

With her husband’s encouragement and their shared dream of building a direct-selling company together, Zyia Active was born.


Do people like Zyia’s clothing line?

While searching through social media sites like Reddit, people will often comment about how these clothing items are overpriced, which given the fact that this is an MLM, it is to be expected. Others say that the product is okay, but they harp all over Zyia Active for using the predatory MLM business model.

Also, I went to check out their Better Business Bureau page, which has an overall 1/5 customer score, and pretty much all reviews and complaints sound a little something like this.

So I think that for one, it’s safe to assume that this product will be hard to sell, and most likely outside of asking friends and family to support your MLM downline, you will likely have to resort to some deceitful sales tactics to make something happen with this MLM business model.

Do I need to pay money to enroll in Zyia’s compensation plan?

Unfortunately yes, you will have to purchase a starter kit to enroll in the Zyia Active Compensation plan, and you must be willing to spend at a minimum, $295.00

So, you’ll get a specific amount of items in your starter pack, such as a shirt, shorts, or some sort of activewear, each kit has something different to offer.

Based on my research, you will not need to continue purchasing starter kits or other items in order to stay in the Zyia Active Compensation plan.

Compensation Plan Review:

I don’t have the exact details of how Zyia Active’s current compensation plan works. I did find something about it, but they labeled it as Zyia Revolution, and on their current main website as of now, May 2023, they don’t have a current explanation of how their compensation plan works which leads me to believe that Zyia Revolution is their old compensation plan.

If I had to take a guess, Zyia Active probably follows your typical MLM compensation plan where you start in retail sales and you have to reach a specific personal volume in order to rank up, and then you can start your downline, each time you rank up there’s probably some sort of bonus payment you get.

Will I make money with Zyia Active?

Now, as I always mention, most, if not all MLMs, you will not make money. Is Zyia any different? I don’t have an income disclaimer, nor do I have any data that tells me what the average Zyia rep is making, but using practical thinking, I would have to say that your chances of making money with Zyia Active are slim to none!

If you go into any area of the internet where someone can give a real opinion of Zyia Active, you will see nothing but complaints.
So, thinking practically, the statistic of making money with an MLM is 0.4%, and the statistic of losing money in an MLM is 99.6%. Maybe you can try to deny yourself being a part of the losing side of an MLM business with the world’s greatest heart and determination, but even so, can you do it in Zyia Active where there is essentially nothing but complaints about the product from the customers?

No, you can’t, the world’s greatest MLM compensation plan will never outweigh a bad product. 

Review Conclusion:

Zyia Active talks up a big game in the sales pitch about personal connectivity, being active, and making money, but provides very little information on how that all works in the grand scheme of things, and this essentially does nothing for me but raise eyebrows.

❌Fails to provide information on how the compensation plan works

❌1/5 customer rating on the better business bureau, with no customer giving the company a score higher than 1/5

❌Complaints everywhere about defective clothing

❌99.6% of all MLM participants lose money

If you are all about the community aspect of it and you don’t mind paying for the products, I’d say go for Zyia Active, but if you are in the business of making some money, I’d honestly recommend affiliate marketing over Zyia Active, especially if you want to stick to the idea of selling activewear clothing.

Why limit yourself to only selling the defective Zyia clothing when you can use affiliate marketing, not be tied down, and sell any brand of clothing you choose?
