What is Kindle Publishing?
Table of Contents
Before we dive into our review, I think that it is important for us to first break down what kind of business model you will be breaking into so that you can discover for yourself if Kindle Publishing is for you or not.
Because these kinds of ads are so misleading. This ad specifically just wants to put into your head an easy way out, a barrier to break the 9-5 rat race without any hard work, you’ve heard those silly ads before right?
“This is how I scaled my business to six figures, and it is all in this low competition business model that no one knows about, blah blah blah, it requires no affiliate marketing, it’s not MLM, in fact, I’ll just give you my system”…okay shut up.
So, what really is Kindle Publishing? Can you really make a surgeon’s salary doing this, while also only working a few hours a week? Without any context or research into doing this, I’m automatically inclined to tell you absolutely not, this is way too good to be true, but let’s do some unbiased research and find out the truth of the matter.
Amazon’s page about its KDP service
Kindle Publishing is a service from Amazon that allows you to self-publish your own books.
This is the typical content you will see from Kindle Publishing.
- Novels
- Book Series
- Children’s Books
- Comics
- Cookbooks
- Journals
- Poetry
- Textbooks
Is Kindle Publishing Hard?
Well, another question you should ask is, Is Kindle Publishing dead?
There are some people who are making $150,000 yearly from Kindle Publishing, and it’s completely on autopilot.
They can make this money on autopilot because they already put in the work a long time ago!
If you are on this page looking up information on Kindle Publishing Income, chances are that that person is not you.
So you should consider the fact that the business model has become fiercely competitive compared to 10+ years ago when the kindle income earners of today started back then.
Can you reach the point of what Kindle Publishing Income advertises? Sure, but not at first.
It is going to take you hundreds of kindle books to reach a point of success.
It’s all about a numbers production game, finding niches to write books about, and breaking that niche into sub-niches, or sub-topics if you will.
And just keep producing and producing, writing more and more books, get your name on those books, get more publicity, more viewing, more exposure.
It’s a lot of writing and a lot of production.
So, if you want to see success in this business, you better be ready to write, and you better enjoy it, because if you don’t, it’s going to be a long road.
How does Kindle Publishing Income approach this business model?
Well, in my opinion, it’s quite chaotic and doesn’t make logical sense to me. While they do teach you how to get book ideas, overall to me, they teach what seems to be a gambling method to getting rich off of this business model.
They focus a lot on spending money, spending money to hire people to design your book cover, hiring ghostwriters, so it kind of like you are this fake author, but you didn’t write any of your own books, and the whole premise is that hopefully, the ghostwriters write good enough so that you have a net return on all of these people that you hired.
I mean sure, it sounds like business, except for the part where you as the publicist, have no idea what makes a good or bad book.
And perhaps Kindle Publishing Income will do a good enough job to catch you up to speed on the business of Kindle Publishing, but I feel like as a beginner it would be much more important to actually learn about the process of Kindle Publishing, and not just about hiring ghostwriters to hopefully make you money.
I feel like the whole life story about “hating your boss” and “earning just enough to not enjoy life” is designed to hook in beginners who don’t know much about making money online, and while it is possible to earn a good income online, I think that it is imperative to ask yourself if you really want to do it by attempting to spend money on other people doing work for you in a business model you’re not familiar with, as well as investing a ton of money into amazon ads(which are also very expensive)

What is inside Kindle Publishing Income?
So, with Kindle Publishing Income, you get a course that is broken down into 6 different modules.
These modules are designed to get the foundation of your Amazon Kindle Publishing business off the ground and running, to help you figure out how to come up with book ideas, discover the correct mindset required for attaining success in this business model, how to actually sell your books, and how to use Amazon Ads to boost your sales to the next level.
In addition to the course, you will also have 1 year of support, meaning communication access to experts inside of this field.
Sophie will provide access to her book of contacts. This makes it easier for you as you will have a bridge to legitimate ghostwriters and designers, instead of having to scour the internet and potentially get scammed on Fiverr.
Group Coaching (weekly basis for 3 months) Sophie has live classes every week, and you can interact with these while they are live.
Private Facebook Group.
Kindle Publishing Income Cost:
$2,485
The total cost of Kindle Publishing Income is $2,485. This cost can be broken down into a 5-month payment plan if desired.
According to some reviews that I read on Trustpilot, there is a $12,000 fee if you truly desire 1 on 1 coaching within this course.
Does Kindle Publishing Income Offer A Refund?
While restrictions apply, Kindle Publishing Income does kind of sort of offer a 180 refund. There’s a pretty big catch, however.
There are conditions that need to be met in order to qualify for this refund. Here’s how it works, you must publish at least one kindle book on Amazon, and also prove that you fully invested into Kindle Publishing Income, and it is then essentially up to Sophie and her team to grant you the refund.
So think long and hard before purchasing this course.
What do other people think about Kindle Publishing Income?
Kindle Publishing Income has a mixed bag of reviews on Trustpilot. You’re 5 stars all say that this is something something autopilot income, so easy to replicate, and so on and so forth.
Then the 1-star reviews, most of them complain about the 180-day refund policy and I don’t blame them, it is a wacky refund policy, I honestly think you should offer a guaranteed refund policy or don’t offer a refund at all.
I think that the 2 and 3-star reviews kind of explain best the pros and cons of Kindle Publishing Income.
As you can see from this review, you might actually be upsold for over $10,000 inside the course.
I also want to share one more review, because it encapsulates my overall feelings about Kindle Publishing Income.
What are my overall thoughts on Kindle Publishing Income?
Overall I don’t recommend it!
I think that this course will indeed teach you some valuable Kindle Publishing skills, but I mean, they’re charging $2,485 just for the base course, and on top of that, it appears they’re also charging a fee of like $12,000 for one on one coaching,???? so I mean, they better teach you some decent tips and tricks.
I really don’t like how they aren’t upfront about the costs until you give them access to your phone number and email address, which is probably some of the most private information about individual customers out there. In addition to that, you also have to watch a webinar that’s over an hour long that is just another depressed 9-5 worker to millionaire rags to riches entrepreneur story that has nothing to do with the actual service besides providing unrealistic braggadocious income claims about the business model.
Maybe you can make six-figure net profits through Publishing weird little niche books on Amazon about how to properly clean up fecal matter from your newborn baby, but if your want to do it through the Kindle Publishing Income method, expect to pay $2,485 for the course, then possibly another $12,000 for the 1 on 1 coaching that they advertise to be actually included within the product.
And don’t forget the endless amounts of money that you’ll spend on ads and the endless amount of money that you’ll spend hiring designers and ghostwriters.
I mean yeah. I don’t know, I kind of feel like this program might be a bad idea.
