How Factory Workers can become affiliate marketers

Hi guys, David Nelly here, and today I am starting a new series of essays that explain in great detail how you can turn your job into an affiliate marketing business, and today we are releasing our first article of many about this topic. Our first article will cover how Factory Workers can become affiliate marketers.

Oftentimes, we have a very hard time transitioning from workers to affiliate marketers. This is especially true when you’re 4 years into your factory job, and the facility has sucked every creative bone and sense of passion out of your body. So when it comes to making up what kind of niche you should target, your head feels fuzzy, perhaps if you are like I was back when I first started affiliate marketing back in 2017, you may even get depressed.

I remember when I started my first blog, I had no idea what to do for a niche, I just thought about how I’ve been working this same job I hate for the last 3 years that I literally know absolutely nothing about anything. It’s a really unhealthy state of mind to be in, and if that’s you, I just want you to know that I absolutely feel for you, I too have been there!

But have you ever stopped to consider that your job could be your niche?

You’d be the biggest expert in the entire field:

It’s one thing to buy the products and test them out and review them for your audience. However, it is nowhere near the level of expertise that could come from you, who drives the forklifts every day, who uses the pallet jacks every day.

Who understands the intricacies and ergonomics of proper lifting! Who understands to always check the forklift for defects and signs of the safety sheets from the shift beforehand. Who understands how to operate forklifts better than any of your wannabe hardhat competitors.

You live this, you breathe this, you take 2 15 minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch to slam monster energy, and you repeat this!

You have access to some of the best equipment in the world!

And some of the most expensive equipment in the world. If you do a bit of googling, you are going to find that there are not a lot of blogs that do product reviews on forklifts, pallet jacks, manufacturing equipment such as mixers, machines that create specific products, and so forth.

This is because most of these products are over $3,000 and they choose to believe that the manufacturing/factory niche would be too expensive to get into.

But since you use these products every day, you have an idea of the quality required to measure the difference between a good forklift from a bad forklift.

In addition, you could gain a massive surge of traffic by producing in-depth tutorials on how to drive forklifts and safety information on forklifts as well.

I have worked in factories myself, so believe me when I tell you that some people desperately need an expert safety guide on how to drive a forklift!

Here are some monetization methods for your factory skills:

#1- Affiliate Marketing through a niche catering to factory equipment!

There are so many tools being used at factories. If you are a machine operator, chances are that the machine that creates the product being sold by the factory is being transported into shipping boxes, and you need to use a strapping gun in order to hold all of the product together!

And believe me when I tell you that you can get some affiliate commissions by providing in-depth tutorials on proper box strapping procedures as well as a list of product recommendations for the best strapping tools on the market!

In addition, people are also looking for more information online about Pallet wrappers, pallet wrapper parts, and here’s a unique one that maybe you didn’t think of, shipping boxes!

This is a list of keywords I found by using the Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool. As you can see on the top, over 5,000 people search for information on Shipping boxes per month. You can definitely take a piece of that pie by writing in-depth articles on “shipping boxes for cheap” and promoting a specific brand of shipping boxes, for example, you could take advantage of the blue box affiliate program to make commissions on promoting their array of shipping box products.

You gotta remember that tons of people are trying to start dropshipping/e-commerce businesses, you could be the bridge that helps their business evolve, and receive tons of commissions helping them out in the process!

You could also go the route of studying everything that goes into your job to provide a comfortable work environment. The fans that your job uses, the air conditioning that your job uses.

Here is a website that has everything from shipping wheels to fans to keep your area comfortable. https://www.globalindustrial.com/ and guess what, they have an affiliate program, 30-day cookie window, and a 10% commission rate! https://www.globalindustrial.com/affiliate

So I hope you can see the massive potential of using your expertise in the manufacturing environment to amass a huge amount of money.

In addition to the huge money-making potential, it’ll help you get past the biggest hurdle in affiliate marketing, getting started. There are a lot of things to learn in affiliate marketing, and you’ve probably heard this a million times, but it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. there’s a lot that goes into it and there is a lot to learn, and its better that you learn now and get started today instead of putting it off for another year and not learning how making money online works.

#2 Creating helpful informational content and using advertising:

Google ads, Ezoic, and Mediavaine are advertising networks that place ads within your content. You make money purely based on getting your traffic to see the ads placed on your website. Essentially, these advertising agencies are paying for traffic to be placed on the ads they promote, the more traffic you have, the more money you make. This is a more stress-free method of making money through your blog because you are making money based on pure informational content, you don’t have to sell anything.

In addition, search engines tend to rank informational content over review content.

There are so many avenues you could go with this method.

Assuming you’ve been with your company a long time, you could go into detail in how to get hired into fields that are similar to yours. You’d create content such as…

How to make at least $20/hour or at least $50,000 per year without a college degree, then coach them on how to get a factory type of job (many factories pay over $20/hour in 2022.

If you have expertise in getting promotions at your job, you could create content based on that.

How to get a raise at your job:

How to keep your lead and your boss on your good side:

How to navigate the political waters at your job:

Know a thing or two about working too hard and not getting compensated for it, or even worse, getting taken advantage of for that?

Create informational content on how to navigate the political waters of the manufacturing industry so that your life stays on easy street!

I worked at a factory for 3.5 years, and unfortunately, I’m a go-getter and ended up working harder than my co-workers for the same 3% bare minimum raise, there may be a hint of anger in this paragraph, the point being, I could definitely use someone like you 5 years ago to tell me how to play the politics so I didn’t expend all that unnecessary energy!

I did have fun working hard though, so I guess I can’t complain.

Where to find the tools you need and learn how to use them:

While the idea of making a bunch of content and then monetizing it to a six-figure income makes you feel all warm and fuzzy in your tummy, the truth is that there are so many variables included with it.

In addition, you need a keyword research tool, a website hosting tool, and these two things separated can cost over $100 per month.

And proper training on affiliate marketing and SEO can cost over $1,000!

Training is necessary, as, without it, it will take you years to catch up with the current affiliate marketing experts.

But what if I told you that there is an all-in-one platform that provides you both the keyword research, hosting, and training you need for only $49/month?

That place is called Wealthy Affiliate, with over 2million members, there’s obviously a reason why everyone calls it their #1 recommendation for learning how to make money online!
